Hai,

Does somebody already knows if there is an upcoming VST plugin (finally)? Doesn't matter if I have to pay 300-350$ for it, as long as it will give me the uppertunnity to control the H8000FW for at least 80% by software.

Does somebody already using E-control on a regular/daily bases?
How does it work?

I asume that it isn't giving the nice overall workflow just like the vst's (wich you can load) in Wavelab 5-6 (for an example)? Does anyone use it with a edit program such as wavelab in combi with the effect window?
I would like to know more about that.

Maybe so other E-control news?

It will available from september 2008. So that is why nobody is responding yet.

It will only be Protools I guess. VST format is not supported by Eventide yet. You can see that with the other plugins.

You could ask Italo at the Eventide forum.

Yes, I've seen it, the reason why nobody responded is that there simply isn't a releasing yet, hahah.

It's taking Eventide rather long to get this plug out.
Also the release of OS X 10.5 Firewire drivers but these have been slated for release at the end of this month. Though I would not count on it as the E-Control release has been put of several times already.
I wouldn't be too surprised if Eventide release a OS update or two for the various series.
Time will tell.
