Thread Starter | Another PTLE question for me
looking for a shortcut here fellows... I've got my guitar track here, and i've edited out all the little extra muffles and string noises and what have you... Occasionally, at the end of the region you'll get a little click...what I've always just done is apply a quick fade at the end... In the effort of going through, checking each region for clicks, and applying fades, is there anyway I can just select the whole track, and have it give each region a 3ms fade in and out?? I don't think this applies to HD, as I've heard it automatically (maybe in the background without being shown) applies these fades, so you never get the clicks... Any help would be greatly appreciated :D |

If there are no fades at all on regions you can select them all and use Beat Detective. Just highlight the regions, select Beat Detective, click on Edit Smoother, select Fill and Crossfade, and hit apply. Should take care of those little clicks... Mike |

that tries to blend things together together though...not just apply the fades

I know that you can do it vertically on multiple tracks...have you tried selecting multiple regions on a single track and using the fade tool or something like that? How about strip silence? Sorry not at my DAW to test for you... Would be a good trick! |

select all the regions and hit apple+f -- batch fades -- you can select the type and duration of fades that you want....
