I've been researching the Radial J48 MK2 lately. I would like to improve my bass sound and give my bass some drive to it. I also recently purchased a keyboard, so I would be able to use it with as well. I was just wondering if it was worth the 200 dollars. I use it with a Firepod...that's basically why I'm asking, will the Firepod still change the sound of the bass? or will the J48 MK2 make the bass sound a lot better along with the firepod?

i looked at that and it got a lot of bad ratings for some reason. Just something about the 48v and saying it adds more headroom and is good for bass and keyboard...I read that many places...but thanks for your opinion. Doesn't anyone else agree with him? or have anything to say about the J48 MK2?

Also...just gonna throw this out there...The bass I normally record with is a Fender Jazz Bass...no active pick-ups which I hear is better suited with the Active J48...Anyone agree/disagree?
