Thread Starter | I want to sell Waves SSL and McDSP Analog channel...
Before I throw these in the Second Hand forum or on eBay I need to find out how to transfer ownership. I've been looking on both sites, and I'm not seeing it. Can you guys help?

Transferring ownership on waves plug-ins? hahaha, I think not. They don't make money from that, so they don't let you transfer. dfegad Waves On another note, how much are you wanting for the Analog Channel? |

U can transfer waves ownership by sending them sort of a declaration letter saying that u're willing to sell your licence to that person, and also u have to pay transfer fee for $150. Ask waves directly for more details. Hope helps

Why don't I have to pay $150 to Sony if I want to sell my TV?

It's true, you don't own the software, you only have a license to use it. And Waves is one of the most self-destructive companies in the software industry.

Check out my post on how to sell waves stuff here: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/1687737-post9.html It was a part of this thread: can Waves licenses be sold again? You don't need to worry about selling McDsp stuff, just transfer the iLok license. If McDsp wants to verify that you are an owner, they just take a look at your iLok account, and see the authorization. No hassles. McDsp uses the iLok the way it was meant to be used. Great company. |

| nasty corporate poopers - yeah i agree. Self destructive? Share price keps going up and they're in many new markets in the playback arena - much like THX and Dolby. Video games is one in which they now hav a strong footing and that is a MUCH more lucrative market.
