Anyone use D'Angelo's Voodoo as a refrence? I would give 2 good smokes and a bottle of Gordon Bierch Martzen for someome to tell me how to make my stuff sound like that. |

"Woodface" - Crowded House "Nightfly" - Donald Fagen "Wildflower" - Tom Petty "Details" - Frou Frou Most recordings my clients bring in for reference are unbelieveably squashed. For a real laugh, put on "Kamakiriad" by Donald Fagen, turn it up to a loud but still comfortable level. Now, without changing anything else, put on "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" by Sarah McLachlan. How long before you reach for the level control? ...H |
