| Gear Head | Emu Emulator III Question!!!!
I have a Emu Emulator EIII (Rack), was wondering, what is considered as one of later serial numbers as i heard the earlier made EIII's were very problematic. But later ones were cool so trying to find out how would you would know if you owned an earlier or later version??? Hope you can be of some help, the reason im asking is my mate's on the look out for one but wants to try and stay from the earlier ones if possible, thanks in advance, Karl.... |

The rack version was launched at least six months later and as far as I know they are all considered to be "late" EIII's. I've also seen a lot of EIII's for sale with all sorts of problems, but they have all been the keyboard version. The rack version is solid. |
