The automation window(Comand 4)..This would be really handy if you dont own a expensive controller.

The pan window...

Best

So I think I can add those functions in the automation window but I'm not sure what you mean about the pan window... What is the pan window? :-) Thanks for the props!

Pro XY is out now which is just an XY pad, great for sweeping EQ, etc... I think it's like 2 bucks. The XY pad is also part of the full version of ProRemote.

I am about to release ProPads which are highly configurable MIDI pads (will also be part of ProRemote). You can have up to 8x8 or as little as 1x1 or anything in between. The pad velocity can be controlled by tilting the device. Pads can be latched (like leaving your finger down) and everything from the appearance of the pad to what MIDI note or CC value it sends is up to you to edit. You can also copy/paste pad settings. The app comes with three default layouts (scenes) that can also be completely reconfigured. The three layouts are standard drum pads 4x4 that send GM drum notes...a sort 4x6 layout for bass notes and a pseudo-keyboard (one octave at C3).

Just need to fix like two more bugs and it will be good to go to Apple for approval.

Coming soon to a ProRemote near you- super customizable midi... on Twitpic
Did I mention you could customize it? on Twitpic

What i mean i, if you work in the edit window you can access a single channel mixer, 1 fader, pan, sub fader, aux fader.....Now i do only post-sound so i normally only use this section for panning, especially i 5.1....

Yea right you slutz will start using protools for the iPhone instead of your home rig. Im glad your creative and you got skill, but this is kinda useless. Especially with all the outboard hype here.

Cheers

So, let me revive this thread a bit here. I was planning on getting an iPad and getting AC7 Pro but the new iPads will soon be here (around march-April) so I'll just wait.

This cool little app seems to be what could help me in the mean time.

I'm after a remote transporter type of app.

Is it available for purchase? will it work with my ipod touch and Logic 9?

where can I get it, or something similar?

If you have Logic 9, check out TouchOSC instead. Works a LOT better than AC-7, easy to set up and is simply amazing. Doesn't have the 'faders on a mixer' look though.

is it better? better with the ipod touch or the ipad? the AC7 pro looks very nice on the ipad, but I think it's not available for ipod touch/iphone

TouchOSC is on the iPhone, I use it on the iPad though. AC-7 on the iPad was promising but is a pain to set up and is quite buggy...whereas the latest Logic update has native support for OSC protocol, so once on the same network, I simply have to open TouchOSC on my iPad and Logic recognises it and I'm able to control every parameter straight away.

There is an AC-7 for iPod I think, haven't tried it though.
