A Good Hi-Fi Listening System?

Anyone Use One Around the Desktop? Any recomdations? i was thinking of getting a tannoy sub for general listening, but id rather just get a good 2.1 hifi system so i dont have to mess with the frequencies or anything of the sub and/or monitors. Computer Speakers or not i dont care.

advice? opinions?

p.s ii want 2.1 cuz i'd like a sub that growls like hell for rap/hip hop =)
