gear between your ears and brain...

if you could have any 1 peice of gear placed between your ears and your brain,
so that, effectivly, anything you hear would first go thru that peice of gear before you percieve it, what would it be? would you use the same settings all the time?

i can't yet answer this question myself...

just want some gearsluts opinions.

enjoy!

I guess tinnitus sufferers might appreciate a linear phase notch filter ...

But really, why would you want anything in there?

Yeah... but mine has a proprietary connector. I was hoping to just go down to Radio Shack...

very interesting

first time i feel forced from the inside to say something after a year of reading:
first real artistic question i encountered on this forum(i surely missed a lot),the entity, the brain,
thinks about itself, and tries to connect itself physically.
I would pick an analog to analog converter with a smooth an stylish big knob for the master volume.
cheers

Yeah! That would be sweet- imagine the possibilities, you could record what you hear! Maybe there's an option for a post-brain output so you could record what you THINK you hear! Even better

That would surely sell millions. Would there be different plug ins for different drugs? "Yeah man, the thai stick plug in makes everything really mellow and warm, but kind of intense at the same time."

Or, you could put one in your wifeys head, and record her thoughts. You would have supreme proof!!

I'd actually prefer a float so I can still route the audio to someone else's brain in case it's important later.
