I saw the Sharon Jones w/ the Dap Kings last in Cincy OH. I'm not even that much of an 'old soul music' fan, but I will confidently say that that was the best live performance of any band I've ever seen. Even though I thought they lacked real 'hit' songs, they took flawless perfection to a height that I thought wasn't possible on stage in real life. They were stupid tight, unbelievably dynamic, and so full of MUSICAL energy that my musical life is now forever changed.

GO SEE THEM if you get the chance. You will not regret it, no matter what kind of music you are into - it will be a priceless lesson.
