| geranium eq or compressor to fatten drums Can't afford both (yet)... need to get a warmer, thicker drum sound going... the drum bus sounds a bit thin and highish now... (even after hours of experiments with mic placement). It's almost there... need warm low mids (don't we all?)... Can't make up my mind to get the chandler germ compressor or the eq... Any thoughts? (in comb with ssl plug, style of music: 60ies/70ies sounding, Memphis blues, soul thing.) Chandler users help me out!! :) |
