Mixing Through a Compressor On the Stereo Buss

chameleon labs 7720

I'm gonna try this with my new 7720. i can mix through my dbx 160x to get drums sounding nice. I don't have another stereo comp for overheads and stereo drum sources..aside from FMR RNC.
Do you think it's worth using the RNC on these stereo sources all into the 7720? OR..mix through the 7720 with no comp until the overall final mix bus?
