This year...

La2a
3 Great River 500 preamps
Argosy desk
Marshall plexi

A full studio renovation, but that is the most memorable of the gear.

Next year...

Another Ltd-1
Some stuff for the 2-buss

1) new quad core PC
2) more room treatment
3) "Mixing With Your Mind"- brought the fun back to mixing, took me out of tech head and helped me stop worrying endlessly about the quality of my gear
4) inexpensive Eastwood Airline guitar- brought the fun back to playing electric
5) Bartok Mikrokosmos 1-6- revived my waning piano chops

Mytek

10 Channels of AD: one 8x96 and one Stereo96. Now I just need the DA to go with it. And the front end. And mics.

2nd best: A+H MixWizard.

Also, 1 Sennheiser 901 and 3 904 mics, and an Apex 460.

Last year was my Otari UFC24 and my Meyer HD1 monitors.

OK... Let see now.

-Dp/4 rack fx (Great fun and sound slick)
-Roland RM-8 (For when you actually want a drum machine sound. Excellent hats too)
-API lunch box and a buzz audio essence (Mint)
-RNC (Finally, very happy with it too))
-Soundtracs PC midi 24 channel in line console
-Akai ASq10 sequencer (so much more fun than a computer sequencer)
-Akai s3000xl (for those in the know about hardware comps)
-Digimax fs (surprisingly good and amazing value for money)
-Shure SM7b
-Trion 8000 (not bad. Gonna mod with a peluso cap shortly)
-Epiphone Valve junior head
-Korg wave station SR (the ultimate pad synth)
-Yamaha TX7 (same as a dx7. Better than the software fm synths coz it gets crunchy and nasty sounding when you hit it hard)

And finaly, a four channel JML audio 1 rack space pre amp that I'm building from a kit set. Work in progress.. Should sound great though.

Now I look back on it, I've really brough a lot of stuff this year....
