| Speakers for a friend Hi, Yep, I'm calling them speakers because yet another "whats best monitor" thread is the last think ye guys probably want to see ! Anyway, I've got some Dynaudio BM15a's. And Im happy. So, for my friends wedding present a set of BM6a's were on the cards (thats the price range) Here's the question....do you guys subscribe to my arguement that "a good speaker is a good speaker" regardless of if its called a monitor?. Yes, monitors are flat but so should good so called hi-fi speakers no? Detail and good frequency response is what everyone wants... Can anyone see any disadvantage of me getting a nice set of quality monitors for him to purely listen on? Cheers all... R |
