Heat!

Can gear handle being at 150-200 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour or so without any ugly consequences? Cables?

Depends on the humidity, too.

The wost enemies of gear are heat, liquids and that oily film of airborne dust that gathers on components.

So, are you like.. smuggling this stuff to Argentina in an unvented car?

Doing a gig in an oven?

Recording a volcano?

It will most likely survive, but I'd cool it down a bit before booting it up.

Especially stuff with MPUs.

Might be doing some thermal pest eradication which heats the place to 160 or so for an hour. Was going to remove the computer, but wasn't sure if I needed to get all the other stuff out.

I'm no expert, but capacitors do contain fluids which may be affected. Plastics can get brittle like an old california dashboard. Plastic insulators in cables may be damaged. What about the cones in your monitors? Doesn't seem safe to me in my opinion. If you really need to kill bugs with heat, I wouldn't touch a thing until everything had cooled down.

I would remove your valuable gear, or rather all gear if you can. Better safe then sorry. if you can't, make sure it is not running!!!
