MXL V69 and the Line 6 Guitar Acoustic

I was at my local music center here in Amsterdam.
And i decided to check out some equipements, what i never pay attention to, so....
Wow....
Well i have to say the MXL V69 microphone was very nice for that price!
I think it was around € 289..
It's nice to see how new companies keep developing new great mic for such little money.
The sound was rich and full....i even think if you would switch another tube for the mic it would make a difference too!!
Anyone tried this mic too?

And i tried the Line 6 Guitar Acoustic...wow this really blew me away.
This was nice...instead of having a stack guitars...just one!!
Very usefull!!

Anyone checked out these too?

I went through a V 69 for the Marshall folks. It's got a transistor output. I thought it sounded a bit hard and thin for a tube model. The SE Z5600 is a much better sounding mic for a bit more money.

Jim,
Do you have any mods for the V69 that you could do to improve the sound?

I own two and still haven't decided if I love them or not. You always do great work and am curious what you can do to better them...

I'm not doing the V69 as I wasn't pleased by the results. If the stock one works for you, use it. Otherwise I would look to some of the alternatives out there.
