What's this?

1937 electrical piano

Electrical pianos in 1937? Anyone know anything about this? I'm not interested in buying. I've just never heard of it.

hmm, i wish I knew. one thing is for sure, that thing has a really classy look.

it looks like there are strings.... and it looks as though there are speakers?

did you send any inquiries to the seller?

I'm pretty curious about this thing too!

there's a studio in town here and they have one it worked geat and sounded fantastic.
its not very happy now.
not sure whats wrong but it seems they are hard to work on
without schematics.......

From what I remember being told at some point they were a little upright with a contact style pickup. It fed a built in amp and there were some speakers on each side, probably where the fabric is? I assume they were tube amps at that point in time.
