Thread Starter | Why not a HArdware mixer that its also a VST host?
hardware mixer+tc powercore/IO that you can load VST/AU and you can route the audio out your DAW into it , process it with the vst you loaded and record a 2 mix back in (with sends etc) you would load and configure what VST go where and which knob controls what parameter of the vst with a software program on your mac/pc. had the idea a while back and doubt ill make $$ with it. wondering why not and if it sound plausible then you guys spread the idea and the manufactures will make it. and ill buy it! ![]() m-audio came up with something like it with its latest firewire mixer but its not a host for the vsts. |

Like what these guys do? Muse Research : The home of Receptor: the Ultimate Synth / Sampler - Play VST Plugins LIVE with the Receptor Hardware Plugin Player Kore does something similar too.
