Thread Starter | Mackie Control Noise issue?
I just picked up a MCU on clearance. When the led display is on, there is a very audible noise. It is a clear hum that is fairly loud. Is this normal? Thanks

I'll go ahead and answer/close my own post just in case anyone else runs into this issue. Turns out this "buzzing LCD" is a known issue that affected some units. I contacted Mackie directly and in short order received a call from them to make sure I was legit and a few days later a replacement showed up. I'm happy to say the "new" unit doesn't buzz. However, I do find it a bit annoying that my original NIB unit was replaced by a factory refurb. But hopefully, it's been looked over well and will remain in working order. |
