Hi passing Toms...

For those of you who are Hi-passing your rack and, floor toms, could you please post your EQ setting? thanks -klauth.

surely you would just adjust the frequency untill it sounds right?

I would normally find this to be under 200 hz, and then dependant on the tuning of the tom

I'm with you on this. It really depends on each drum for me. If the drum was tracked with too much low end, a higher freq hp may work, but with a more gradual roll off.

Honestly I usually go with whatever the highpass is on the preamp Im using...if the preamp doesnt have that feature then usually around 80-100...maybe lower for the floor tom.
