Looking for the best drum sample CD for stacking

Hi all,

Anyone know of a tried and true drum sample CD for stacking and replacing rock drums (Vertical Horizon, 3rd Eye Blind, etc.).

Thanks!!!

everyone uses the clearmountain cds...those are about as good to use as it gets

but for something different, "drums from hell" are great as well

Is anyone here familiar with Roland's XV expansion card "Dynamic Drums"? Seriously wondering how it stacks up against the Clearmountain collection.

Thanks for any info, Dean

I just listened to some online demos of the Dynamic Drums expansion board. Very nicely recorded - lots of great top end to them. Always searching for good drums and they sound really good. Will it install in either my 1080 or 3080?

Yes Robert,

I believe it will install in your 3080, being of the XV-genre. They've been my "go tos" for most of my clients when natural sounding kits are called for, but the Clearmountain Cds just might fill the gaps and then some for my needs.

They've also lowered the price on the Roland expansion cards. Good luck!
