Mastering Engineer in LA

Hi
Any mastering engineers in LA here? Please email or send a link to a website.
I would like to know what you charge etc. Im not looking to master release product, but more for demos and who can make it slam for a budget. I dont care how you do it, wavelab, hardware etc etc. but want someone who is reasonable for regular work (i send you track as .wav and also send you examples on how i want it, and you send it back slammin).
The style is anywhere from RnB/HipHop to Rock/Pop.
Thanks!!!!

Stephen Marsh has done a few dozen albums for me with good results. He used to be with Sony and Threshold and not has his own shop in the old radio recorders complex in hollywood.

Here's a sincere second for Gavin Lurssen in Hollywood. Lurssen Mastering

If your budget is tighter, the two other ME's at Lurssen Mastering are great guys who do great work: Gabriel Wallach and Jonathan Belzley.

Everything about the people, place, and work is top flight.

Louie at Marcussen is incredible and a great guy.

Though I think he may be on vacation right now.

Based on the description of what your looking for, I'd recommend Hans Dekline @ Sound Bites Dog. Great guy, easy to work with and affordable.

Doug Sax is the best, but he's not cheap. I believe he does have rates for demo's and such. Ron McMaster and Kevin Bartley at Capitol are great, and a bit less expensive.

Brad at Red Mastering does really nice work and he's easy to work with, flexible, and pretty damn cheap.

We send stuff to him all the time and for $100 a song you can't go wrong.

Thanks,
Matt

When you've got the cash, Brian Gardner. When you don't, maybe John Golden
