| zVex Imp Amp as a Guitar Power Amp for Recording? Has anybody tried working with the zVex Imp Amp for recording at low levels? The nanohead is great but for more tonal versatility (particularly in the high-gain, modern tones) it seems like a good preamp (like the Randall stuff) into the Imp Amp and back out to a cab could be great. I'm not looking for silent, but even a 5W combo is too loud. Anybody tried this or want to weigh in with their thoughts? |
