AES/EBU to SPDIF RCA

I have a Kurzweil KSP8 and I want to use the XLR digital SPDIF out to another device but it's SPDIF input is RCA style, how do I connect them?

From "RME HDSP 9652" manual

It might not work on some old AES-EBU gear

If that doesn't work, try the M-Audio Co3. It's a S/PDIF - AES/EBU - TOSlink converter. Any in, all three out. Swiss Army knife in a box.

I guess such a cheap unit could easily add jitter though.

SPDIF

Unusual for a device to have SPDIF on XLR. Is this correct? There are wiring diagrams at rec.audio.pro for AES to SPDIF and vice versa. It involves a few close tolerance resistors.

Not sure if this would work, but what about the AES to Spidf cables made by Lynx for the Lynx II cards? Here http://www.lynxstudio.com/cables.html
