Sennheiser MD 421 tuchel to XLR

moin from germany!

i just got myself a vintage Sennheiser md 421. it's the white (or is it grey?) model with the bass cut selector. now, it has the old standard tuchel output connector.

so i got on the internet and searched around for adaptor cables tuchel to XLR.

now, i found some helpful sites, but just want to make sure, that my idea is the right one, since this mic is quite expensive and old. this is how i would make the connection:
Tuchel 1 => XLR 2 (+ hot)
Tuchel 2 => XLR 1 (gnd)
Tuchel 3 => XLR 3 (- cold)
(see attachment)

will that work?

thanks,
Lukas

I just found an MD421 - serial no 02214

I think it's pretty old. Has the M S switch and is beat up, but very cool.
