BLA Mods for MOTU and BLA Clock

Well, I just paid my deposit for the mods for one of my 1224 boxes. I also paid for my BLA clock. I can't wait to get them and hope that the upgrade is drastic. For the money, it can't be beaten if it pans out. Anyway, just excited and had to post....

I had my 896HD done about 3-4 months ago and all I can say is I wish I would have done it sooner... sounds better on the way in and the way out... drastically.

I had my 828II done awhile back with the Clock internal mod.
I think it sounds better than my UA2192

Hey I would like to hear your opinion on the mods for your 1224. I have 3 of them running here. Thought about having one done. Right now they are clocked via AES to an aardvark clock. I think that that helped some but the difference is subtle in this room which is as of yet untreated.

Will do. I'm getting one done at a time so I'll be able to compare with and without the mods and then with and without the clock on each.

I got better mics, I got better pres, but my sound didn't improve until I got the BLA mod on my 2408.
