DAW -cache size - HELP

I want to increase my cache size.
I am using system cache.
In virtual memory:

READS:

space available: 25829MB

Custom size: selected

Initial Size: 1488MB
Maximumm Size: 2976MB

This was the default for my laptop.

If I want to increase this, are there any guidlines?

Use a custom size, set the min and max for the same number... roughly twice the size of your physical memory or more if you need it. But setting them to the same number will speed it up as the system won't flush the cache nearly as often.
