I forwarded "Clapton Shreds" to a diehard Clapton fan I know. He was thoroughly unamused.

The Steve Vai video sounds like what the end of the guitar showdown in the Movie Crossroads should have sounded like. I almost died when he played the first few chords of Smoke on the Water. Hilarious!

Ha Ha ha lol! dude needs to lighten up and enjoy. Obviously a complete sense of humour bypass their - but then a lot of 'worshipper' type fans can be like that.

yea nu-tra i had hoped you had seen that! i almost wish i wouldn't have learned the guys real identity. something about the mystery of "st sanders" made it even funnier but still.......... they are classic. i thought it was funny how st sanders said he played it for his "non musical" friends and they didn't get it. it is only his true musician friends that fall all over these. i can see why.thumbsup

Wired contacted me through gearslutz. They said they would mention my band. Too bad all the songs on my page are old and crappy sounding. I am building my tracking room in a few weeks so I can get started again.

Steve Vai's moves and facial expressions with those shite guitar parts just kills me!

It's so absurd and completely hilarious!
