| Lynx AES16 clock vs. UA 2192 clock with 2192 converter Hey there, I've been wondering about this for quite a while... I keep switching between the clock of the card and the internal 2192 clock and I do hear a slight difference. Not night and day, but big enough to keep me thinking... While with the AES, the sound has more depth and more mids going on - when clocking to the 2192, there's a tad more high end and a wider soundstage, but a bit LESS depth and mids. I can't really decide which I like better - I do like the depth and mids of the AES clock, but I wonder if it'd be the wiser choice the go with the wider image/more high end of the 2192 clock. What's the word on the AES clock? Or should I try a whole different clock to get the best out of the 2192? Anyway, does the clock sound affect just my playback, or also the recordings (which is what I guess)? Thanks for your input!
