Roy Baker and Mike Stone's Queen albums: "Queen II", "Sheer Heart Attack", "Night At The Opera", and also "News Of The World" which was engineered by Stone. Oh, and the mind-boggling awesome best-in-the-world Buffalo Springfield "Again" engineered by Bruce Botnick. ' |

I actually had to do some research to see if I could come up with a suitable post, and ultimately, nope, I can't. None of my favorite mixers have even done 3 albums that I love. So, I'll just post a few of my favorite mixes: Tom Lord-Alge - Live - Secret Samadhi Andy Wallace - Rage Against The Machine - s/t Alan Moulder - Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream (also mixer of Ride's Nowhere, possibly the album I most wish to be remixed/remastered of all! - damn early 90's cheap shitty brittle digital technology! )Nigel Godrich - Beck - Sea Change I'm sure there are plenty of others, but my memory is pooh... |

Steve Albini! too many records, but not mentioned previously in this thread is his work with Shannon Wright. His signature sound doesn't come forth on her records (it mostly does on "Over The Sun") but the music is such a consuming experience and he does just right leaving the music come through! |

These questions are always tough, but I'll pick Andy Wallace because his credits far outweigh those of any other producer or engineer in my CD collection: Jeff Buckley - Grace Faith No More - King For A Day... Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step |
