What a lot of you don't know is Avedis is only 15 years old. Look at his pic... He is a child genius.

Thoroughly insane. Drugs can't even make you see things like that first pic! I heard Avedis beat Kramnik a few years back.

That looks like Paramount? I think that was the name of it. I stayed there once. Pretty trippy. Dave |

I'm laughing my ass off thinking about your hotel room Lugo. It was like I stepped into some sort of Alice in Wonderland theme... the floor was checkered... the bed was low to the ground... the sink in the bathroom looked like a ufo spacecraft, and the lightswitch is IN the showerstike... and there was that crazy GIANT picture on the wall!!! aw man.. at the last aes two years ago, someone else booked my room and when I got there it was a dormitory style hotel with the bathrooms shared down the hall - the room was just large enough for the bed and when you open the front door it runs into the bed.

That hotel is insane, I don't know how well I could sleep there, wake up to that, and totally freak. my broke ass was at a youth hostel, no gigantic paintings and crazy floors, but I def. saw some crazy stuff, such as my canadian girl roommate from australia wearing a thong as she got ready to go be a lobbyist at the UN. |

Paramount Hotel, Times Square. I've stayed in that joint when I was in NYC doing an installation. Had to turn sideways and take a deep breath just to squeeze between the bed and the TV. Good location, but the rooms are quirky. My room may have had the exact same picture over the bed. Spooky. |

My room this year was about the size of a jail cel, but it was clean and had it's own bathroom.. unlike the time before. The shower was in a corner and small, and the faucet handle was really touchy so that when I'd turn around my elbow would catch the faucet handle and suddenly send it either really hot or really cold. I've never cursed so much taking a shower. |
