My flatmate is downloading some giganto porn movie or something at the moment so my playback was sering but they sounded OK.

A little too uniform and way too much room for my tastes, maybe i'd use them for a Phil Collins rip off. I can feel it coming in the air etc etc..

Am I the only one who hates drum programming? It sounds lifeless and fake to me.

sounds like all the bad 80's drum sounds i've already heard. The terrible music in the samples dosen't help either.

I think they just need better demos.

I'm sure the drums sound great.

Not really into programmed drums myself but this collection takes the biscuit, sounds like the kits off an old Yamaha keyboard.

Hit the right frequencies and they can even make you poop!

The focusrite console in studio A is pretty hot. I really shouldn't pick on you man, I actually agreed with pretty much everything you had to say in the waves thread.

Actually, the demos and the drums match up perfectly. Total soprano sax/ ponytail music. Makes me want to sit back and enjoy some Riunite on ice. "That's nice!"

I wonder why they didn't feature some rock music for the demos? I'd like to hear just the samples and see how much of that crappy sound was added after the fact.

Nevermind, I just saw this:

"Sample Music produced with Ocean Way Drums factory presets. No additional ambience or effects were added to the drums."

I heard the Ocean Way drums through the Ocean Way speakers at AES. They can't really sound any better than that. I didn't like them.
