Can i use UA 2-610 as preamps for masterbus??

Hi,
Just bought Universal Audio 2-610 .. Can i use them for glue mix at masterbus? i see some hip hop producer using that for boost the gain at masterbus..
Give me input..

It's really colored. I would consider radical treatment like that an effect and would only use it if that is what the song and production called for. If that is indeed what you are looking for, perhaps some Telefunken pre's would serve you better.

It's as easy as trying it out for yourself. Let us know what YOU think. It will either work, or not, for you. It will definitely have a 'sound'. I must admit, though, I've not thought about putting a 2-610 on the2bus. Might be a lot of fun. Or not.

Well,
I not really colouring.. but its tighten the sounds..
But it is legal or not to have preamps in masterbus?
somehow its better sounds than my TL audio..

Its quiet expensive to buy this gear (i buy new) ..
So i can chains them like Toft ATC2 EQ - UA 2-610 - Amek 9098 Compressor - Waves L2 Hardware for masterbus..

I have 2 LA-610s'; I run my final mixes thru them into the master; I love what i'm gett'n with them; I think that is a good chain myself but thatz my pref.....

I guess you can if that is really what you want to do, but I don't really understand what it is you expect from running through the 610's. You can color the sound by running through the gear, but signal fidelity only degrades throughout the signal path. A short signal path will help preserve that fidelity.
