Car Shaped Control Room Design

Hey guys,

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be awesome if someone could design a control room, or inside a control room where the engineer sits, a car shaped space to mix in. The reason I say this is because I do most of my listening to music in the car, so I know what music sounds like best in the car. They also say if you can make it sound good in the car, it will usually sound good anywhere. Someone should come up with a design for a car shaped mixing space in the control room, with the console build into the dash. That would be amazing in my mind! What do you guys think???

How about putting stems on your laptop and finding a way to plug it into your car stereo?

Hmmm...actually I might have to try that myself.

I heard something about Al Kooper hardwiring a Trans Am in the parking lot of the studio to listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd references. Such a great mental image.

I've never investigated. Mostly because I never wanted to hear that it didn't happen. Ears plugged (LA LA LA LA LA LA).

The problem with that would be some cars use coaxial speakers, some use separate components. Some mount in the door, some in the dash. Some in the rear deck, some in the spots next to the rear seats.
