Thread Starter | Heil PR 20 vs shure Beta 58
I use a beta 58 for my vocal live, but I was wondering if the Heil PR 20 would be good. I own a PR 40 and love it so I thought I might look into the PR 20. Has anyone compared or have experience with the two mics?

| I like the PR20 a lot better. But, on some voices, the B58 might be a tad better..... -tINY |

would you say it's smooth but articulate? Or is smooth an adjective you wouldn't use for this mic. and thank you for the reply! |

| I only think of voices as smooth.... I have used some LDC mics where they sounded a bit grainy on some vocies. The PR20 has a lot of condeser mic qualities, but it's never sounded grainy for me. -tINY |
