optimal sampling rate (re: audio snake oil)

Audiophile @ ILikeJam

You guys argue about 44.1/88.2/96 or target sampling frequency? Well these guys apparently have tweeter that totally surpasses anything you record. It operates in the GHz range, yes you heard me: 1 gigahertz and up. Any vendor offers recording interface samples at 2GHz+?

The Ultras provide better defintion, greater depth and transparency of soundstage and more solid imaging.

It's kind of like getting the 700th copy of a copy of a copy Nigerian chain letter... it has a nice, timeworn, familiar feel.

That said, it looks like these don't actually reproduce anything but somehow help the transmission of sound in the audible range by generating a "coherent" steady state sound someplace above 1 gHz...

Not as good as the quantum entanglement of the "Intelligent Chip" but obviously quite a breakthrough.
