NEW RADIOHEAD ALBUM free to D/L in 9 days

You've heard the news already?

New radiohead album 'In Rainbows' will be downloadable in 9 days from their website. You can contribute as much or as little as you want.

A boxset including double vinyl/CD/artwork and extra tracks is available, again through their website, from Dec 3rd.

Apparently it will have general CD release early next year, thought this is unconfirmed.

There will be no promotional material/promo copies etc, everyone will get it on the same day.

Interesting.

What do you think?

i dig it. I will still end up buying it.

I just hope this record isn't a let down, i had many a let downs this past year. I still need to get the new Animal Collective, it got a 9.3 from Pitchfork. Thats pretty insane.

YES!!! been waiting for this for too long now. Cant wait to hear Nigel Godrichs lastest recording masterpiece. My favourite engineer/producer ive never heard guitars like his!
the band is getting together on the 10th and we are listen to it in the studio with the lights dimmed, and a beer from start to finish.

DON'T FORGET that the diskbox contains 8 extra tracks that are NOT on the 10 track album. The extra tracks will be on a second CD, and vinyl also i think.

Absolutely, as long as the servers don't freeze. There will after all most likely be hundreds of thousands of people trying to get it on that day.

more bands should aspire to do what radiohead do which is not compromise on thier artistic endeavors.

once again they are right on the cutting edge.

Two thumbs up for Radiohead!

I hope that it's a good quality version not a 128mp3.
