Thought I'd resurrect this thread as this is what I'm attempting to do as well. I would say the main parameters are the RT (reverb time, nominally 1.5 - 2.5s, to taste), and the fact that a variable bandpass filter was used before the send to the chamber. This was commonly used to cut the bass at 600hz and treble at 10khz, resulting in a clearer echo to be heard from the chamber speaker. This, in turn, would be miked (probably with a Neumann ?) and returned to the desk to be blended in (and possibly eq'd) with the original dry signal. Some starting points, maybe | |
