Thread Starter | Puget Sound Studios Open House! You are invited to Puget Sound Studio’s Open House the weekend of October 19th – 21st from 9am -5pm each day! Puget Sound Studios 472 Sky Country Way NW Issaquah, WA 98027 Phone: 425-369-1392 We’re finally open after a 2 year build! Join us in the celebration of our hard work. Because we have many people coming from out of state, this event will be held from Friday to Sunday. This has been a dream of mine at bringing the Pacific Northwest a Mastering room it can be proud of. Other cities have high-end rooms, why can’t Seattle! See why studios are now saying "Now we don’t have to send our mixes away. We can keep everything local!" and "This is what the local scene has needed for a long time!" Puget Sound Studio’s Chief Mastering Engineer, Bruce Brown, has been assisting local artists with their mastering needs for the past few years. Now with a better room and the new Neve Masterpiece II, we can serve our clients more efficiently. Puget Sound Studios consists of a Post Production/Control room, Mastering room, voice isolation booth and separate mechanical/computer closet. For anyone wanting to record, the Mastering room can also be used as a tracking room. Designed by Chris Huston (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Patti LaBelle and WAR) and tuned by Bob Hodas, this studio features complete sound isolation, its own dedicated Equi=tech balanced power electrical system and fiber optic transfer between rooms. We’re the only studio in Washington that can record, edit and master multi-channel DSD/DXD material. The Post room is built around a PT HD/4 Accel system with Control24, 192i/o, PRE, Sync I/O, Midi and the advanced DigiDelivery FTP server. Avid Media Station and Vegas Pro workstations are also available. The Mastering room features a Pyramix DSD workstation with EMM Labs converters. A monitoring chain of Wilson Audio WATT/Puppy speakers, Pass Labs XA-160 monoblocs and a Crane Song Avocet surround ed. ensure you we’re taking no short cuts in achieving the best Washington has to offer. So come join us in making this event a memorable one! Thank-you! |
