diffusor and room size Q

hi, i got a 4.8 x 3.3 meter mixroom, and have already made DIY broadband panels for corners and RFZones to the left, right, above, front of me.

i'm about top make some skyline QRD diffusors, made of wood, to put at the back wall behind me, classic 688Hz - 3.44 kHz range (60x60cm, 5x5cm columns etc..). something like this:

reading old posts on the subject, it seems the rule of thumb is not to place diffusors in too small rooms, as they ain't as effective, so i was wondering is my room big enough to justify putting 3 of those behind me. rest of the room is treated with broadband, and parts of the ceiling will be covered with a few 2D diffusors i already have, made of industrial density styrofoam. like this, but substantially lighter:

opinions, advice ?

thanks
tom

1) How far is your seat from the back wall?
2) Are the other diffusers that you made the style of the second picture?
3) How deep are the diffusers you plan to make? How deep are the ones you already made?
