| My basstraps Hi guys! I just finished my ceiling cloud ,35cm thick, and I got spare rockwool. so I thought about making some more basstraps folowing Ethans advice that the more basstraps the better. So there are made from two layers of rockwool 120 x 60 x 5 each. Rockwool is 75kg/m3. Total thickness is 10 cm and I made a lot of holes around the frame to let the sound waves get in. The white cloth is not the final. Its just a material that will not let the rockwool fibers come out. I will put the real cloth above it later If I put these panels side by side should I leave a space between ? thank you. |

| yes its for the first reflection points spacing 10cm from the walls. Would you please explain why butting them together is better than leaving a space between them? I thought that a space will leave the sides exposed thas more apsorbing area thank you. |
