Show and tell: building on the installment plan

I finally put some decent lighting up in my tracking room and damn it changes the atmosphere in the place! Now I'm chomping at the bit to put the new iso room's window in and get that freshly sheetrocked wall painted and groovy looking!
Anybody else torn between gear slutdom and Home Depot slutdom? I've still got to hang the lights on the higher half of the ceiling, but I'm diggin 'em so far...

The lights are from a little $40 Home Depot cable lighting kit. It comes with a 33' cable to be cut in half, three 20W halogens, and a 60W 120V to 12V transformer. I bought two kits since the room is 30' long and left the cables full-length, replacing the 60W trannies with a $48 200W 120V to 12V transformer. I used three 50W halogen bulbs alternating with two 20W bulbs to keep it to 190W. I gotta go find a real lighting supplier where I don't end up replacing half the kit...

Cool job on the lights. Now throw some posters and tapestries up on that unfinished wall!!!

Thanks, that wall is slated to go orange to keep things lively.
Been working on incremental changes for so long, had to share the joy of the great brightening. Big digital pic session...

Hey sub!! It looks great! It'll be a while before I'm catching up to you though. Been in the gearslut phase for a little while, especially since last christmas. Maybe next year I'll start looking for a space. Viability you know . . . Good looking space.

aside from the lack of paint that's a nice looking tracking room. I like the lighting also..nice work.
