| Noise Gates Is there such a thing as a truly good inexpensive noise gate. I am well aware of the Drawmers and units in that quality range, but right now they are far out of my budget. I have issues with having to gate my mic when I'm recording and it's not the most quiet environment in my basement regardless of the sound treatments I've applied. I would like having more control over it to prevent "chattering" as the one built into my DAW tends to do that and it is annoying. Any ideas?........
