John Mayer's Distortion Tone on Belief

(I know there are many other threads on Continuum, but not about the distortion.)

I'm curious if anyone know what pedals he's currently using for distortion. I heard that he was using a TubeScreamer a while ago and then the FullTone Full Drive 2.

Anyone know what he's using now?

(I'm sure he's using some boutique amp as well, but if you know that please do tell).

The distortion tone on his Belief solo is very nice. The tune is on the homepage of his site, if you haven't heard it. johnmayer.com

Thanks,
Jon

Sounds to me like a fuzzface, with the volume knob rolled off, (on the guitar). He definitely played that particular solo without a pick.

Yeah, that's definitely in the Fuzzface world. Check out the Fulltone '69 fuzz. That'll get you in the ballpark.
