I may go for a 14" screen Ibook for home use. I cant justify a Ti book. I run an Mbox on the studios 12' screen Ibook, but it's too small for internet / office use for LONG HOURS! Besides carying it back and forth is getting 'old' quickly.

Jules if you get an iBook it only has a G3 and you wouldnt be able to use it for Altiverb...I would pony up for the Titanium just for that reason....

I aint doing any serious mixing on the Ibook / Mbox combo - merely editing / and remote overdubbing (any old crappy reverb plug in will do for some monitor vibe...) I dont have any need for Altiverb on a laptop.

I dont need or DESERVE a G4 Ti book!

Studio Ibook:
Mbox editing / and remote overdubbing
Midi software station
Studio / personal diary / palm sync
Client / studio email / web
Itunes Library
CD burner

Home Ibook (soon?):
Studio / personal diary / palm sync
email / Gearslutz addiction
Home Office
Itunes Library
CD burner
Digital camera fun?
