How are you using mix buss compression with PTLE?

Quick question really...How are you guys using an analogue compressor on the mix buss with Pro Tools LE?

And just to make the thread slightly interesting, tell us what boxes you favour.

So you're going out of PTLE and back in again or what? How do you monitor this way?

I go out via an Apogee Rosetta 200, to a Drawmer 1968ME and back in to the
Apogee to a stereo track in PTLE.

So is that stereo track constantly record enabled so that you can hear what's going on as PTLE doesn't have the input monitor switch on the mixer like HD does.

For most of the mix, I monitor through an aux track in PT. When I'm ready
to print, I switch to a stereo track and monitor off that (while in record).

With a 002R and a Lavry Blue A/D & D/A connected via spdif. I hit whatever outboard EQ or compressor that strikes me for that song and record back in on a stereo track (although I do it in Logic)

Cheers. I suppose this is the most logical way to do it.
