Good online school in understanding acoustics, circuits, and mixing

Any thoughts on this?

I went to UCLA Extension.

There were courses on acoustics taught at Harman International by Sean Olive. Mixer to fixer (Technical maintenance class) by Michael (damn, i forgot his last name) He used to work for Sunset Sound for a few decades and freelance all over LA. For mixing class, there's Claude Achille,

The advantage of taking class at UCLA for me is, we get to use nice studios like westlake, cello, ocean way, conway for our sessions. The cons: UCLA doesn't have a facility for students to
practice on their own.

My 2 cents,
Moko

The best online "schools" are forums like GS and PSW... the wealth of knowledge to be found in daily posts as well as archived threads is really immeasureable. I can't think of any other way to find as much practical information as I've found here over the past year or so.

Sometimes i'll dig up an archived thread and re-read it, and most often discover something I missed the first time around. Some of the guest moderator archives are truly invaluable as well, particularly those by Slipperman and Dave Derr IMHO.

I must say that the improvement in the overall quality of my work over the past year is almost entirely due to these forums
