EV664 - Odd cable, soldering question

I have an EV664, I don't know if it works or not because the plug is ruined.

Now I know how to solder XLR cables together and what not, but this mic has 4 wires on the inside. Will a regular male XLR work even though it only has 3 pins, what needs to be soldered to what pin and what not? Can anyone help me?

The wires protruding from the mic are white, green, red, and yellow.

Do I need a special cable/connector? Does it require all four wires or can I "mod" it to work with a regular xlr?

Help!

It needs a special connector (atleast the physical, metal part that swivels and connects to the mic). If soldering ends up not working, they can be readily found on ebay (the whole mic/cable) for pretty cheap...i think i got mine for 25$ or so. They sound decent in kick drums, and are great video props!

Yeah it's a really cool looking mic, and if I can fix it for a couple bucks that's just another mic in my pretty sad collection.

So what special connector is it that I need? Where can I buy just the connector (or can I even?)?

1-white
2-yellow
3-red
4-green

i'll attach the wring schematic and brochure.
have fun with it.

David,

Thanks for all the info. I checked into the connector, and I found Amphenol's website but I couldn't seem to locate the exact part I needed, do you happen to know what it's called on their site?

Also, I don't have a cable to fit this connector if I do fix the mic, can I buy one on ebay or something and what exactly is it? Does it go to regular XLR on the other end?

Sorry if I'm totally missing it.
