Original API 312 sound

Hi,

I just purchased 5 - API 325's with original in/out transformers.. from the early to mid 70's...and i'm very excited about refurbishing these.

There are alot of posts on here about BA 312's, OSA preamps, Seventh A12's, etc etc.. and that's great... but who here has original 312's, with original 2622's and those big honkin output transformers that they had back then?

Can you gimme your take on the sound? I've never used a 312 before.

Thanks in advance!

D.
