Thread Starter | Cheap kick advice (I forgot this website)
A friend of mine needs a new kick mics and I remember somebody telling about this chinese mic being sold of this .co.uk website. Apparently, its fairly good on bass. I HATE forgetting stuff and I can't believe I didnt bookmark that page. Can anyone help me out, please? Thanks a lot (I'm well covered with my D6 and I'm making a subkick really soon! )

I believe Studio Projects is made in China (but so are probably Karma Mics, MXL and many more nowadays) but I can't vouch for the quality...

You can pick up a D112 for a hundred quid. How much cheaper do you need!

| Congrats, the 868 is great and has been my go to kick mic for quite some time. On the cheap I would maybe go with an Audix i5 or SM57 though, and skip that CAD KBM412 thing. Yuck is my opinion. War |
